2026 Competition Cheer Registration

A separate registration form MUST be completed for each child.

Please use this form to register your child for the 2026 Competition Cheer season by June 5, 2026.

What: The Competition Cheer Team will learn one (1) routine that will last a total of 3-5 minutes which includes one (1) cheer, one (1) dance, and a skill show-off. Practices will involve learning both cheer and dance skills such as jumps, basic tumbling, motions, and choreography.

When: July 2026 through November 2026

-Mandatory Parent Meeting: Junue 1st 6:00pm

-Uniform Fittings: Tentative sometime between June 8th - June 19th

-Practices: One (1) per week July – August; Two (2) per week September - November

-Competition 1: November 1, 2026

-Competition 2: November 14, 2026

-Competition 3: November 29, 2026

*Please note, this is NOT registration for the football sideline cheer program. This cheer team is SEPARATE FROM the Football Sideline Cheer Program. Your child can sign up for both!

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Cheerleading is a team sport where each athlete’s presence directly impacts the performance and preparation for the entire squad. In order to ensure the success, safety, and teamwork of our squad, cheerleaders are required to attend all scheduled practices and the three (3) competitions for the team.

Each cheerleader is allowed no more than three (3) unexcused absences from practices during the season. Unexcused absences include missing practices without prior communication or valid reasons (such as emergency or illness). More than three (3) unexcused absences may result in removal from the squad or competitions. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the coaches and/or the MYAA board.
